Tomato Art

So the last couple of weeks I have been completely addicted to tomatoes! Our local Whole Foods Market has had heirloom tomatoes available in their store. Although it cost me a whopping 10$ for 3 tomatoes, I have no regrets. The quality and flavor of them more than make up for the price, and sometimes you just have to splurge! It also inspired me to make some art so that’s an added bonus! To make this caprese salad I used a little balsamic vinegar, olive oil, fresh basil, salt, pepper and burrata cheese from Trader Joes. Mmmmmmmm delicious!

Feeling Blue

This weekend I was feeling the blues……..but in a good way! Normally my art usually has a lot of pink and purples in it, but I thought I would switch it up a bit. The mandala was drawn with Copic markers and the abstract floral with Dr. Ph Martin’s concentrated watercolors. (shade Ultra Blue & Ice blue)
