I had a wonderful snowy weekend visiting my parents. They have a wide array of animals that come to the house and I always enjoy photographing them and capturing their personalities. This morning I was taking pictures of the birds when all of a sudden this beautiful creature popped into my viewfinder! He climbed right up the 7 foot snow drift and onto my parents porch! It was an amazing moment being stared down by a coyote and I was so glad to have my camera in hand.
It sure has been a white winter this year with over 75 inches of snowfall so far! I just love the brightness the snow brings and it makes a beautiful backdrop for taking photos. As flowers are always a favorite subject of mine I wanted to show them off in this powdery bliss! I love all the subtle hues of white on white.
With the new year I wanted to start fresh and update my website! It has taken me a couple weeks to redesign it but it’s just about done! I will be adding some more content to the gallery in the future but for now I am very happy with the new design. I also am starting fresh by having my blog directly on my site instead of blogspot.com. If you would like to visit my old blog posts you can see them here.
