So I have this roll of watercolor paper that is about 4 feet wide and I love just rolling it out on the floor and painting. Painting with so much canvas to paint freely on really lets me loosen up!

New Year New Florals
I am always inspired by beautiful flowers and one of my favorite floral designers is Jill from Layered Vintage She is a floral event designer based in San Diego.
Today’s watercolor was inspired from this gorgeous bouquet she created!

Getting loose with florals
Today I was working on some bright colored floral motifs. Can you tell I am having so much fun just letting the brush and inks do their thing?! It’s such a change from working with soft pastels but I am loving the results. Here are some pics I snapped while working today in the studio. I will be turning these motifs into a fun happy pattern next!
